I co-founded int.ai, a bot that answered questions on SQL databases in plain English, which Start-Up Chile funded and Walmart Labs acqui-hired. I then built data products at Walmart, Twitter, and SnapLogic across privacy, compliance, governance, and cloud cost. I hold an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and have been the first data hire at multiple startups, where I set up data functions from scratch.
Fractional CPO, on reserved capacity.
Product leadership by the month, not the payroll. You reserve a block of hours; the block covers product direction, data, and strategy.
A fractional CPO is a chief product officer who works part-time for several companies at once. AnalystNest runs the model on reserved capacity: you book 25 or 60 hours a month for a term of three, six, or twelve months. The hours are yours. The work inside them spans product leadership, data systems, and strategy, so one engagement can cover what would otherwise be separate roles or hires.
BackgroundReserved capacity
You reserve 25 or 60 hours a month. The block is yours for the term.
Monthly engagement
Billing runs by the month. A three-month minimum applies.
One person, three areas
Product leadership, data systems, and strategy run through the same engagement.
Client cap
A set number of engagements run at once. Each one gets time.
Work by priority
Work follows the priorities agreed for the month. No same-day turnaround unless agreed.
One month notice to close
Either side can end the engagement with 30 days notice.
What is a fractional CPO?
A chief product officer who works for several companies at once, part-time for each. You get executive-level product leadership without employing a full-time CPO. The work covers product direction, delivery, and the data and strategy decisions around it.
Who is this for?
Companies that need product leadership now but not at executive cost: startups preparing for or after a funding round, founders without a product background, and teams that need one person across product, data, and strategy.
How is this different from a fractional product manager?
A fractional product manager runs the product work. A fractional CPO sets the direction for it: what gets built, in what order, and against which targets. The same engagement can run at either level. See the fractional product manager page for the delivery-focused version.
How does a monthly engagement work?
You reserve a block of hours each month, 25 or 60. The block is reserved for you for the term. Work follows the priorities agreed at the start of the month. A three-month minimum applies, and either side can end with one month of notice.
What does the work cover?
Product strategy and roadmaps, zero-to-one product definition, hiring plans for product and data roles, data architecture and analytics, and the strategy work around them: unit economics, budgets, and cost optimisation.
